Peugeot 205 CTi 1.6 MKII (1989)

Peugeot 205 CTi 1.6 MKII (1989)

The Peugeot 205 was launched in February 1983 and was ‘Car of the year’. It had an immediate success for it’s fantastic ‘chassi’ and suspension giving great handling. Being in the eighties, the brand instantly had a market reaction with the growth and surch for ‘pocket rockets’. The result were the fabulous GTi and later the CTI (convertible). The success was astonishing both for the superb results in automotive racing, majority rallyes, and for the commercial numbers/sales.

This example joins the best of both worlds, being a fantastic sports car with great grip and at the same time a pleasant convertible. It’s finished in a nice sporty red which, by the way, constrasts perfectly with the black details all round and with the canvas top! The paint, body, plastics, canvas and rims (polished like new) are all in mint condition. The interior is also exceptional…

It’s an excelente ‘youngtimer’ where you can have amazing driving experience and at the same time it’s a very interesting investment with prices rising. (up graded to the more reliable 1.9cc engine)
